Pidgey, Pidgeotto, Pidgeot, and Mega Pidgeot.
Ah, your first bird Pokemon. Notalgia and Twitch jokes aside, Pidgeot was another one that later one wasn't that useful. Not that it's bad, but there were better Flying Pokemon than Pidgeot like Dodrio, Fearow, and Aerodactyl.
That was until ORAS came out and blessed our original birdmon with a Mega. With the No Guard ability and buffed stats, it can spam the Hurricane move without worrying about missing.
